Welcome to the Utah Ladies Book Club blog.  I'm looking forward to great books, spirited discussions, and wonderful company.  Here, we'll post meeting dates and locations, upcoming books, and book reviews.  We'll be meeting the first Thursday of every month at 6:30pm starting on Thursday, October 7th.  The person hosting the meeting will get to choose which book we are reading.  The October meeting will be held at Danielle's house and we'll be reading Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet.  It sounds like a wonderful book and I can't wait to read it and discuss it.

    I just finished reading this book and loved it! It took me a while to really get into it but once I did I was hooked.

    I enjoyed learning more about this time in history. I really enjoyed the love stories between Henry and Keiko and Henry and Ethel.

    It was a very sweet story. But it saddened me the relationship between Henry and his father. I couldn't believe that a father would treat his son that way. :(

    Good job picking this book, Danielle. I really enjoyed it.
