Merry Christmas! I can't believe today is Christmas Eve. I hope you all have a wondrous and joyous Christmas holiday. It's been a while since I've updated our blog. Sorry I've been remiss in my duties. I'll do better in the new year, I promise. Our book for January has changed and we will be reading Matched by Ally Condie. I'm hearing great things about this book. If you can't get the book from the library, Tawnya has it to loan out and I'll be buying it and can loan it out as well. If anyone else has a copy or will be buying it, let me know.

I loved this book and can't wait for the sequel to come out. Tawnya, thanks for choosing this book. I read several negative reviews that compared this to "The Giver", but since I haven't read that book, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It makes you think about the consequences of living in a society where the government provides for all your basic necessities in life, thereby removing all individual choice.
